SHIAMAK's One Year Dance Certification Program for Juniors gives children aged 7 to 14 a practical and theoretical grounding in dance. The program builds focus, confidence, discipline, creativity and fitness—laying a strong foundation for a life in the performing arts.

Shiamak Style, Ballet, Shiamak's Inner Dance, and Movement (Yoga).

Theatre Jazz, Performance & Expressions Workshop, Body Percussion, Bollywood Jazz, Salsa, Hip Hop (with awareness of music, beats and rhythm), Dance Theatre / Musical Theatre, Diet & Nutrition, Music & Dance Appreciation, Contemporary, and Shiamak's Inner Dance Movement.

Theory of Dance (terminologies and definitions), Evolution of History of Dance, Biographies of renowned choreographers and performing artists, Performance & Expression, and Dance Related Films.

Before you
enroll.

Everything families need to know before registering their child for JOY.

What age can my child join JOY?

JOY is open to children aged 7 to 14 years. Classes are organised by age group so each child trains with peers at the same stage.

How long is each class?

All children and junior classes are 45 minutes. This keeps sessions energetic and age-appropriate throughout the year.

Does my child receive a certificate?

Yes. JOY students take ISTD Grade exams and receive internationally recognised certificates from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, London.

Can parents watch classes?

Parents are invited to observe on designated dates communicated by the instructor. This keeps the studio environment focused for students during regular classes.
